Now one of the biggest community festivals on the East Coast of Ireland, the Arklow Seabreeze Festival kicked off yesterday (Sunday) and will run until July 22nd.
Up to 20,000 people visit Arklow main street during the annual festival and this year organisers have added a new dimension: Arklow's Fittest Family.
Just like the TV programme, families will compete in different challenges in an effort to win a 6 month family membership to The Bay Health and Leisure Club and €100 in cash. The 1st round eliminator challenge will take place over the festival weekend on Friday 20th of July, with 3 teams going forward to the finals on the Sunday 22nd.
