Joy of Team Sport

Greystones Soccer Club is one of the largest in Ireland with 50 teams and more than 950 active players from U7 to over 35 across five leagues. The schoolboy club continues to grow year on year providing the opportunity for children of all levels to participate and experience the joy of team sports. Overall, Greystones has produced many international sport stars over the decades including the current cream of the crop Paul Dunne (golf), Simon Power (soccer), Dylan Fawsitt (rugby) to name a few.

To celebrate Ireland's Euro88 1-0 win over England, Greystones United AFC is pitching former Irish international legends including Paul McGrath, Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan and Tony Cascarino against the local crop of professional and amateur sporting heroes!

Paul McGrath will be around between 15.00 - 17.00 for a meet and greet. Later, a Legends Dinner with a three course meal and a band will also feature a Q&A session with Ronnie and Ray.

Building the Clubhouse

The Legends Match represents the first step in raising the required funds to commence the Clubhouse Build. Head along to Greystones United AFC, Woodlands, Killincarrig, Greystones, Co. Wicklow for a fun family day out (there's loads of parking in the area and the Club is just a short walk from the DART and bus stops).
