Thanks to a wildly popular segment on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," pretend-singing contests between are proving hugely entertaining in local communities across Ireland. The performers choose a song to Lip Sync and are then outfitted with not just a microphone but props, costumes and in some cases, backing singers! The comperes on the night will provide the audience with colourful commentary.

Kilrush Askamore GAA Club and Kilrush Camogie Club are hosting Lip Sync Battle on Saturday February 3rd in the Amber Springs Hotel, Gorey.

Both clubs have an abundance of talent, growing number at underage level, and a rich sporting legacy as many club members have played or are currently playing for County Wexford.

The goal is to expand the playing field to facilitate and support these growing numbers. Glen Fuels Gorey has signed up as a main sponsor of Lip Sync Battle.
